Ghanaian musician, Criss Waddle has advised the constituents of Asante Akyem South not to vote for Bice Obour Osei-Kuffour in the upcoming 2020 elections.
In a post, Waddle asserted that it will be a waste of time if he is voted as a Member of Parliament.
The AMG Business CEO said the former MUSIGA president is a selfish person.
He wrote on Twitter: “Pls don’t VOTE for this Guy, he’s a waste of time and a selfish person, stomach Politician.”
Obour is contesting as a Member of Parliament on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the Asante Akyem South constituency.
Rapper and entrepreneur, Desmond Blackmore, known widely in the entertainment circles as DBlack has added his voice to the movement pioneered by Criss Waddle.
Black Avenue Music boss, D-Black upon seeing his colleague Criss Waddle’s post, quote-retweeted it saying:
“Until he accounts for his time at Musiga and how the finances of Musiga were managed and benefited the ‘Musicians of Ghana’ positively, I agree with u 100% percent !!! Very disappointed in how his administration steered the affairs of Of Music Body. Selfish Greedy Unaccountable”
The former MUSIGA president and his administration came under intense criticism for alleged misappropriation of funds after the government allocated a two-million-cedis to the creative arts industry.
Bice Osei Kuffour, the then-president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) disclosed that the two million cedis fund was used to conduct research into the music industry.
